Dr Grover is originally from New Delhi, India. He graduated at the top of his high school in Delhi. In high school he decided to go for a career in medicine as it involves the unique responsibility of helping and caring for people, while also providing a continuing intellectual challenge. He felt that there is no other profession that can reach out and so significantly change a human life. He was selected as one of the 35 students amongst more than 200,000 to study Medicine at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).  He graduated at the top of his class in 1999 with high scores in USMLE examinations. He then moved to US and completed residency in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago in 2004. He was named as Best resident of the year in 2003 and Best Student Teacher in 2002. He then worked as hospitalist for 5 years first at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and subsequently as Oncology Hospitalist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. With his strong interest in Oncology, he decided to pursue fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at City of hope Cancer center, Duarte, CA. After completing fellowship in 2012 he decided to stay at City of Hope for another year to gain more experience in leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and bone marrow transplantation. He has presented his research work at American Society of Hematology meetings. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.

His philosophy is to treat all his patients with a comprehensive and holistic care plan. He feels that the doctor’s responsibility is not only to treat the disease but also to understand the patient’s emotional and psychological reaction to it, thus helping them cope better.

Dr Grover loves traveling, and enjoys spending time with his family.
