Dr. Saeed was born in Romania and moved to the US when she was 6 months old. She grew up in New Jersey and eventually moved to Oklahoma with her parents and younger brother. There she attended undergrad and medical school at the University of Oklahoma. She held various leadership positions during her training including Public Relations Officer for Omicron Kappa Delta Honor’s Society and Committee Chairperson of the American Medical Women’s Association. She was a member of the Honors Program, the President’s List, Dean’s Honor Roll and graduated Magna cum Laude.

She completed training in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. She has achieved several honors and awards including winning the Resident of the Year Award and received the Morton Fuchs Educational Memorial Award for Outstanding Clinical Vignette Presentation during her residency. She participated in research projects during her training including co- authoring an abstract for the American Society of Clinical Oncology with one of her mentors Dr. Thomas Kummet. Dr. Saeed later moved to Kansas City to complete her fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at Kansas University Medical Center.

She moved back to Arizona to join with Internists, Oncologist Ltd from 2006-2012 before the group joined Palo Verde Cancer Specialists in October 2012. She participates regularly in teaching presentations for the residents, patients and staff at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center including “Lunch and Learn” presentations covering various hematology and oncology topics. She is Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology. She currently serves as Medical Staff Section Chief at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Saeed enjoys yoga, boot camp, cooking and art classes, traveling and book clubs.
