Palo Verde Cancer Specialists and our dedicated team are here for you with compassionate care during your cancer treatment. We recommend you anticipate prescription refill needs, and it is best to have prescriptions written during your scheduled office visit or treatment. Please bring your pharmacy phone number or fax along with the medication to your appointment. If you are unable to do so, please call our office as early as possible during regular office hours for refills of non-narcotic prescriptions. Please have your pharmacy number and medication information ready, and all prescription requests will be handled promptly but can take 48 hours. You may also phone in or fax your request to any of our oncology clinic locations.
By law, you must have a written prescription for narcotics such as Percocet, MS Contin or OxyContin. Most narcotics require a hand-written prescription signed by your doctor. That means no narcotic pain prescriptions can be made after office hours or during the weekends. We are extremely sympathetic to your needs and want you to have medications when you need them. However, due to Federal regulations, no exceptions are possible as this would be in violation of the law. It is always best to get your written prescriptions while you are seeing your physician. We thank you in advance for understanding these policies.
Palo Verde Cancer Specialists is here to help you with any prescription refill needs during your cancer treatment or if you have any questions about your medications or treatment plan for your condition. Please contact us at any of our oncology clinic locations. Whatever your needs, we are here to help you!
